Qualifications
Qualifications required to be a Career and Technical Education Member
- Career and Technical Education Membership is available to persons, firms or corporations providing academic and occupational skilled training to prepare students of all ages.
- Center Types
- A secondary school health services occupational program
- A cooperative work education program of a career and technical education center
- A comprehensive high school, or
- An adult and community education program
- To be considered, an applicant must have proper certification from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education or must have proper certification from the Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development
PLEASE NOTE: An educational liaison and a clinical supervisor are required. A clinical supervisor must be a licensed RN or LPN.

Dues Structure
An applicant must meet the qualifications listed above. Membership options and pricing are listed below. You must choose one of these options during the application process.
Tier 1 – Secondary Membership:
- Yearly Membership (September 1 – August 31) – $130
- Membership must be renewed every September at $130 to remain a member
- Price per student enrolled – $450
- An educational liaison and a clinical Supervisor are required. A clinical Supervisor must be a licensed RN or LPN
Tier 2 – Post-Secondary Membership:
- Yearly Membership (September 1 – August 31) – $450
- Membership must be renewed every September at $450 to remain a member
- Price per student enrolled – $700
- An educational liaison and a clinical Supervisor are required. A clinical Supervisor must be a licensed RN or LPN
Tier 3 – Testing Center Membership:
- Yearly Membership (September 1 – August 31) – $450
- Membership must be renewed every September at $450 to remain a member
- CTE Instructors may join the MHCA testing Center to conduct testing for TMU
All applications must be submitted to the MHCA Board of Directors at a regularly scheduled board meeting for approval. Board meetings are held bi-monthly (February, April, June, August, October, December). Dues will NOT be pro-rated for those joining after the start of the fiscal year.
