COVID-19 Rapid Response Network for Nursing Homes

On Monday, May 4, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, with support from The John A. Hartford Foundation, launched the COVID-19 Rapid Response Network for Nursing Homes. The network is designed to support nursing home leadership, staff, residents and families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Rapid Response Network features daily 20-minute National Nursing Home Huddles to provide real time, pragmatic solutions that can be implemented in nursing homes today to solve many of the key problems brought about or exacerbated by COVID-19. Call topics will reflect issues identified as most pressing by those providing care for nursing home residents, including: access to personal protective equipment (PPE), lack of testing, hospital to nursing home transfers, staff illness and absence, and staff attrition.

Please join in on these calls by registering here. Once registered, you will have access to a web page with recordings and resources from past calls. The 20-minute huddles will take place at 12PM ET every weekday going forward.
