Missouri Health Care Association has assembled a team of MO lobbyists consisting of Jorgen Schlemeier, Scott Swain and Jim Foley, led by Sarah Schlemeier Henke, MHCA Advocacy Director. Our lobbyists are registered with the Missouri Ethics Commission to represent the long-term care industry’s best interests daily in the Jefferson City Capitol. This team monitors the daily activity of the legislature and administration to ensure that MHCA has every opportunity possible to intervene in policy decisions impacting long-term care.

Legislative and Payment for Services Committee
The Legislative and Payment for Services Committee monitors legislation, regulations and concerns expressed by the long-term care community. The committee, in conjunction with your MHCA Government Affairs team, plans and implements strategies to appropriately deal with such issues as they arise.
