Meramec Nursing Center in Sullivan, MO, is home to three Centenarians!  Jewell Luck is the eldest of the three, at 102 years old.  She will turn 103 in October.  She is widowed and has two sons, four grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  Her hobbies included quilting.  She attributes her longevity to working hard.  She encourages others to never be afraid to make a better life for you and your family.  She said she thought she would never see this age - Never say Never!

Two other ladies become eligible for the Centenarian Club last fall.  On September 20, 2017, Wilma Tutterrow turned 100.  She is widowed and has two daughters.  She enjoyed embroidery and quilting.  She says a living a good, clean and quiet life and always going to church helped her reach this milestone.  Her advice to us is to spend time with the ones you love.  When asked about turning 100, she replied, "I have had a good life."

On October 21, 2017, Lois Schollmeyer celebrated her 100th birthday.  Like the others, she too is widowed.  She has one son.  Her hobbies included playing the piano, gardening, canning and watching soft ball games.  She attributes her longevity to being determined to life to take care of her son who also lives at the facility.  They share a room.  She encourages us to laugh and have fun!
