When and where is the 78th Annual Convention & Trade Show?
MHCA’s 78th Annual Convention & Trade Show will be held Sunday, Aug. 23, through Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Branson Convention Center in Branson, Missouri.
What is this year’s convention theme?
This year’s theme is The Art of Care, celebrating the dedication, skill, compassion and creativity that make long-term care extraordinary.

Is Wi-Fi available at the convention center?
Yes. Complimentary Wi-Fi will be available to convention attendees.

What is the dress code for convention?
Business casual attire is recommended for education sessions and networking events. You may want to bring layers or a light jacket, as meeting rooms can feel cool.
Registration & Check-In
Where do I check in when I arrive?
The Registration Desk is located on the second floor of the Hilton Branson Convention Center.
Do I need to wear my name badge?
Yes. Please wear your convention name badge throughout the event. Your badge is required for admission to all sessions and special events.
Can I register on-site?
Yes. On-site registration will open at noon on Sunday, Aug. 23, and remain open through 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Education & CEUs
How do I receive CEUs for convention sessions?
MHCA provides each attendee with a name badge that includes a unique identifying barcode. This barcode must be scanned at each seminar the attendee enters to track CEUs. CEU reports will be generated after the convention concludes using the data collected from the barcode scanners. A CEU report will be emailed to each attendee within the first two weeks of September.
Where can I find session handouts?
Session handouts will be available online closer to the event. Attendees can print a copy of the handouts prior to the convention, if they choose to do so. Hard copies will not be available on-site.
Do I need to complete a session survey, and where can I find it?
Each attendee is asked to complete a session evaluation on the seminars they attend. These evaluations provide key feedback and assist MHCA in ensuring we are providing seminars on topics that are important to you. A link to the evaluations will be provided to attendees at Convention.

The Exhibit Hall is located on the first floor of the Hilton Branson Convention Center.
What can I expect at the Trade Show?
The Exhibit Hall is the place to connect with industry-leading vendors, discover new products and services, and build valuable relationships. On Monday, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and refreshing cocktails while visiting exhibitors and entering to win exciting prizes. On Tuesday, can earn 2.0 Patient Care CEUs while exploring the Exhibit Hall and connecting with our business partners. Getting Around & Parking
Where is the Hilton Branson Convention Center located?
The Hilton Branson Convention Center is located at 200 East Main Street, Branson, MO 65616.
What is parking like at the convention center?
Complimentary parking is available in the Hilton Branson Convention Center south parking lot. Guests of the hotel also have the option to park at the Self-Parking Garage for $15/Day for unlimited in & out privileges or Valet Park for $25/Day for unlimited in & out privileges. Guests will check into the hotel prior to selecting their parking options.
