The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program provides a pathway for providers of long term care services to journey towards performance excellence.  The program is based on the core values and criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program.  The Quality Award program has three progressive step levels.  The second step in the National Quality Award Program is the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award. First time and repeat Silver applicants will develop a deeper understanding of the NEW Silver Criteria.  In addition to the Organizational Profile, the Silver Criteria adds questions about the maturity of your processes and key results. Learn tips on how to describe your processes and present your results effectively to ensure you meet the pre-screening process.

This session includes 2 days of training and consultation on how to complete the AHCA/NCAL Silver Quality Award Application led by trained Quality Award Examiners and a Gold Level award recipient.  Learn what it takes to earn Silver. Learn how to effectively use the pages for your Silver Award Application that meet the Criteria and the Scoring Guidelines.
