If you are an MHCA Member and already have a criminal account set up with Missouri Health Care, you can click on the box to the left. For security purposes you will have to sign in with your member i.d. and password. This is the same login as for the members only portions of our website. you may also fax in your request to (573) 893-5248 using the appropriate form. You may download this form by clicking on the lower link to the left. To run backgrounds with MHCA, your facility must be a member of MHCA and have an account setup or supply MHCA with a credit card to keep on file for all criminal background charges. To set up an account, just contact the MHCA office at the number or email address listed to the left. If you do not want to supply a credit card for charging, your facility will have to submit a check to start your account. Here is how it works. All backgrounds that are submitted BEFORE 10:00 a.m. will be processed that day and you will receive results back the following day. Any backgrounds submitted AFTER 10:00 a.m. will not be processed until the following day and you will receive results the third day. We do not process criminals on any federal or state holiday as the Highway Patrol is closed. All criminals will be processed the following day. Results will be shown as "No MATCH" meaning there is no matching record in the Highway Patrol's database... "MATCH" meaning there was a hit from the patrol's database and you will receive the information through USPS ONLY as this information can not be faxed or revealed over the phone... and finally "PENDING" meaning that here is a possibility of a match and further information is needed. PENDING could take up to anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months. |
